INTERO's Property Management Department was founded by Mick Cavnar in 2011 and has proudly served the Carson Valley and surrounding areas ever since. What started as a one-person operation has grown into a highly trusted and community-recognized division—consistently placing in Carson Valley's Best Of for Property Management. We are committed to excellence, reliability, and hands-on service.
At INTERO Property Management, you'll work directly with a dedicated, experienced team focused on protecting your investment and providing exceptional support to both owners and tenants. Our department is led by Mick Cavnar (BS.0146324 / PM.165297) and Skye Schilling (S.0186944 / PM.0167674)—two professionals with deep roots in the Carson Valley and extensive expertise in leasing, property care, tenant relations, and full-service management.
We handle every aspect of the rental process, including advertising and tenant placement, applicant screening, lease preparation, rent collection, maintenance coordination, inspections, and compliance with Nevada landlord-tenant laws. Our mission is to make property ownership stress-free while maximizing long-term property value.

About Mick Cavnar
Mick Cavnar is a licensed Broker/Realtor and Certified Property Manager, proudly serving as the head of INTERO's Property Management Department. Raised in the Carson Valley, Mick has been in the real estate business since 2004 and has built a strong reputation rooted in integrity, professionalism, and community connection.
In 2011, Mick founded INTERO's Property Management division from the ground up, growing it into a trusted, reliable, and service-driven operation that now manages a large portfolio throughout the region.
Mick is a devoted husband and father, known for his kindness and steady leadership. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching youth sports and staying involved in the community he cares deeply about.
With decades of experience and unmatched local insight, Mick continues to set the standard for quality property management in the Carson Valley.

Since 2015, I've been proudly serving the Carson Valley and surrounding areas, helping clients turn their real estate goals into reality.
